1. Embrace silence by turning off the noise. Ex: decide not to play the radio and to be with yourself
  2. Pay attention to your breathing and other self-soothing stimuli (sky, trees, ect.) (self-soothing with yoga, meditation, or relaxing music)
  3. Focus on positive energy (internally and externally)
  4. Minimize shop talk at home
  5. Consciously make the transition from work to home by letting go of undone tasks
    1. Create to-do list for next week before leaving for home
    2. Don’t take work home for the weekend
  6. Celebrate accomplishments from work week by taking care of self
